Teacher

Jason Parker has been playing guitar for over half his life.  He enjoys Rock, 90's Grunge and Alternative, Classic Rock, Punk, Jazz, Post-Modern and Romantic Classical, and other styles of music.  While his own music doesn't mirror a particular genre, he has been inspired by such bands and artists as Pavement, The Pixies, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tom Waits, The Strokes, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, The Lemonheads, The Hives, Everclear, The Japancakes, and many others.  

 

He has been a guitarist in several local bands.  Jason teaches well.  He instructs his students on what they want to know and also what they need to know in order to be a well-rounded guitarist.  He teaches creativity.  As you will come to find out, he is passionate about his instrument and about teaching in general.  

 

Mr. Parker also teaches for Ponier Music in Acworth, the Atlanta Music Scene's Mobile Guitar Teacher Program, and the Apollo School of Music off Johnson Ferry Rd.  Feel free to take lessons with him at any of these places as well.

Policy

Payments are made for an entire month at a time--$80 by the end of the previous month.  Payment for November will be made at the end of October, etc.  However, if at the first session, student decides not to continue with instructor, you will be charged for that session only. 

We accept cash and check only.  Make all checks out to Jason Parker.
